We make sure that our seniors have adequate food, clothing and shelter, and remain in contact with the community.
Caregiver Program
Educational and emotional support is available to caregivers of seniors, be they a spouse, parent or other. Jewish Family Service facilitates an ongoing Caregivers Support Group in conjunction with the National Caregivers Alliance for family members or friends helping with the care of a loved one.
Geriatric Care Management
One of the most difficult realizations is that people we love can no longer care for themselves. Whether planned or sudden, finding proper care can be overwhelming. JFS Geriatric Care Management may be the answer to your problem. This fee-for-service program can assess, plan, coordinate and provide all necessary services so you can sleep at night, whether near or far. Click here for more information.

Our experienced professional staff is available for information on senior resources, as well as for referrals to community agencies.
Mitzvah Corps/Caring Connections
Isolated individuals are helped in many ways by an Interfaith Volunteer Program that provides:
- Rides to doctors' appointments
- Reassurance telephone calls
- Grocery shopping
- Friendly visits on a regular basis
Chaplain Service
Our chaplain visits unaffiliated seniors in area hospitals and nursing homes, and meets with homebound individuals who need spiritual support and guidance.
Holocaust Survivors
JFS provides financial and emotional support, as well as help with required forms.
